Alfredo Martins has a degree in Theatre by Escola Superior de Música e das Artes do Espectáculo do Porto. He also attended the Dartington College of Arts (UK). He participated in the Theatre Directing Course organized by Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian and led by Third Angel Theatre Company. In 2008/2009, he completed a professional internship with the company Gob Squad in Berlin. In 2009, she was awarded the Inov-Art program grant to work with the company Reality Research Center (FIN). In 2010, he was selected for the 19th edition of La Nouvelle École des Maîtres, directed by Matthew Lenton. He is co-founder of teatro meia volta e depois à esquerda quando eu disser. In this context, he has directed shows as “O nome das ruas (2006)”, “URBANIA (2010)”, “Nacional-Material, Paisagem com Argonautas” (2011) and “OZZZZZ” (2013).
